But there’s something to be said about being able to play in dirt.\u00a0 A lot to be said.\u00a0 Like how soothing it is to turn over soil to find a bunch of worms feasting, working for me, and knowing all that compost I dumped in the ground is getting turned into gold!\u00a0 It brings me such delight.\u00a0 It soothes me and I find a sense of purpose, even though the Great Gardener is the One who is at work behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

This is Dinosaur Kale and from the images at my friend’s garden, I KNOW this plant does, indeed, grow to dinosaur size!\u00a0 As you can see, the chickens have snuck in and eaten the outer leaves!\u00a0 Stinkers!<\/p>\n

This is dill~\u00a0 and I just thinned it yesterday, along with pulling up all the morning glories that felt comfortable growing in the same bed.\u00a0 They will be beautiful growing up the trellis on the side of this bed but NOT in the center of my dill.<\/p>\n

Seeing green grass in my yard only happens in the winter!\u00a0 And this particular patch is as healthy as it is because we have been watering it with our washer water!\u00a0 It may almost too green!<\/p>\n

I replanted this tomato in December and never really gave it much thought, but this is exciting~!\u00a0 The photo was taken a few days ago and is even bigger today!<\/p>\n
